What Is Laddu Gopal Shringar
Shringar means decoration. In Krishna seva it includes the crown, jewellery, flute, tilak and other small ornaments placed on the murti after the poshak. A good shringar completes the look and makes darshan joyful.
Essential Shringar Items
Mukut and Pagdi
The crown or turban, often with a mor pankh kalangi.
Mala and Haar
Necklaces in pearl, beads, AD stone or gold plated finish.
Kangan, Payal and Kundal
Bangles, anklets and earrings sized for small idols.
Bansuri and Tilak
The flute is Krishna's signature, and the tilak adds the final sacred touch.
Matching Shringar With Poshak
Choose gold toned shringar for red, yellow and maroon poshak, and silver or pearl shringar for pastel and white dresses. Keep it lighter for daily seva and fuller for festivals.
Questions Devotees Ask
Are shringar items sized like dresses?
Mukut, pagdi and kangan follow the same size numbers as Laddu Gopal dresses. Mala and bansuri are usually available in small, medium and large.
